* In love with a friend *

>> I am now a freshman in college and he is a junior.

We attend the same University and remain the closest of friends. We live together, but as nothing more. All this time I have had to go through him talking to me about other girls and hearing every detail, while having to cough

up advice and be as little bias as possible. I have seen other men as well and still thought about him. He has had currently 3 other girlfriends since me. I have put off liking

him and figured he would have made a move by now if -

he felt the same. Little things he does all the time make me think he likes me, but then again I am his best friend and I am sure there isn't anything he wouldn't do for me. It has now been two years since we first met and the phone calls till dawn haven't stopped. Every time he does something or wins a game he can't stand to wait till he gets home to call me, he must call me as soon as he gets in his car and can grab the cell phone ASAP. He teases me about little things that I don't even remember about your relationship. He remembers all the exact dates ( when we met, when we first went out, when we broke up, & my b-day), he still calls me all the pet names he did when we were going out, he remembers all the little inside jokes and all the little dumb things I did I wouldn't have remembered to save my own life.

>> I don't want to tell him of my feelings in light of ruining the friendship or his relationship. I would rather keep my mouth shut and stay confused with his mixed signals that he may or may not feel the same. I know he would do anything for me at my beck and call and has even offered ditching his girlfriend on their anniversary to take me to a major function that I could easily go by myself to. I also have to take into account that he is my best friend and he would do anything for me. So now I stay confused and bewildered and still to this day he remains my friend.
